Hilton Hotel Surfers Paradise and David Hart:
In June of 2022, David Hart launched his latest art gallery situated on the 2nd floor of Hilton Surfers Paradise Hotel & Residences, 6 Orchid Avenue. Although David has been the feature artist throughout the Hilton Hotel foyers and reception since 2018, the gallery is his latest venture with Surfers Paradise Hilton, and features smaller to medium sized works by David and a selection of work by his late father Pro Hart. The gallery also showcases a wide range of prints, etchings, and David Hart giftware. Larger scaled David Hart artworks are hung throughout the hotel foyers and reception areas and are all available for purchase.
The David Hart Gallery at the Hilton is not staffed throughout the week, however, it is surrounded entirely by glass walls so you can still view the art at any time. The lobby has close to 30 artworks on display and there’s a huge 2.5m mural near the reception that has 12 hearts hidden in the painting, which is a lot of fun for the whole family to try and find. Even if the gallery isn’t open, there is plenty to see and do.
