Although David has been a full-time visual artist for more than 30 years, and is only in his early 50’s, he still has a long career ahead of him. David considers his mid-career as perhaps the most important time of his life in regard to new directions and inspiration for his future in art. His work has seen a significant growth in value since his very first paintings back in the early 1990’s, and David believes that collectors should see those same investment trends continue well into the future.
If you look at David’s fathers mid-career prices, Pro Hart’s 61 x 61cm paintings were selling for $2,200 in 1983 when he was 55 years old. 20 years later in 2003 his 61 x 61cm paintings were selling for $15,500 which is an increase of more than 10% per year.
