As the exclusive authorised Australian agent, and son of Pro Hart, David Hart offers an art valuation service on all original artwork by Pro Hart and of course, his own original artwork. David and his wife, Christine, have been valuing Hart works of art for over 25 years and can verify all values based on a proven sales history for similar work sold through David Hart Galleries.
Written valuations are usually required for one of the following reasons:-
- Insurance purposes
- Superannuation Fund portfolios which include artwork require regular updated valuations
- Family divisions or bankruptcy
- You would like to sell your work privately and require a current value of the work. A valuation from David Hart also gives the potential purchaser peace of mind knowing that not only is the artwork authentic but they are not being over charged for the artwork
The cost of a valuation is $150. If you have more than one work to value then each valuation (after the first one) will be charged at $100 each. If you purchased the artwork originally from David Hart Galleries then the cost of the valuation is reduced to $100 and $75 for each consecutive piece. If it’s a David Hart artwork that was purchased from David Hart Galleries, then the valuation is $50.
The written valuation will include your provided photograph and so when attaching the photographs please ensure that the 1st photo is taken front on and squarely, for the best result. The 2nd photo is to be the same but include the frame. The 3rd photo is to be of the back of the artwork. The back of the artwork is necessary to show the inventory number and if the painting has a microchip or has had Pro Hart’s DNA applied. Please ensure there are no flash marks or glare on the photographs.
Please fill out the below information for a written valuation of an artwork. Once submitted you will receive an invoice and the written valuation will be emailed once payment has been received. Valuations can also be posted if required.
IF YOUR PHOTOS ARE NOT UPLOADING (or it wont submit), IT MEANS THE PHOTOS ARE TOO LARGE. IF THIS IS THE CASE PLEASE EMAIL THEM TO email@example.com
